As a first-generation American, Mariel takes pride in her Mexican, Italian, and Jewish heritage. Her passion for acting began in theater and she honed her skills at HB Studio in New York City and Anthony Meindl's Actor's Workshop in Los Angeles.
Mariel also stars in the upcoming horror feature "The Shade," directed by Tyler Chipman. She made her US TV debut in ABC's "Promised Land" and also leads in AFI's "Lux Noctis," which made the Academy Awards shortlist.
